Visconti Van Gogh Fountain Pen – Orchard in Blossom Gift Set

Shortly after arriving in the city of Arles, in the south of France, Van Gogh became intrigued by the flowering fruit trees that populated the orchards there in the spring of 1888. He began to paint many flowering fruit trees like peach, almond, apricot, and peach. Orchards in Blossom is dated April 1888 and is thought to depict plum trees in full bloom. This beautiful painting is currently on display at the Scottish National Museum, Edinburgh.

Made from natural resin, uniquely mixed to represent the palettes of oil paint Van Gogh used to paint his masterpieces, the pen collection features Visconti’s eighteen-faceted design, with the many edges enhancing their vivid colors. The meticulous selection of resins and their color mix is one of the major innovations introduced by the Van Gogh collection.

The Van Gogh collection may be personalized using Visconti’s “My Pen System” and features the iconic magnetic closure system. The clip on each pen is unique to Visconti and reveals the origin of the brand, as it takes inspiration from the Ponte Vecchio Bridge in Florence, Italy.

The Van Gogh Orchard in Blossom gift set will include a bottle of purple ink and be available with fine, medium and broad widths. The steel nibs are plated in rose gold to match the rose gold vermeil trims.

Please note that the nature of the resin makes each of these pens and their colour variations unique, and they may not appear exactly as the image shown.
