Celebrating the holidays with our community

There are many little things we can each do to kick off the holiday season ourselves; however, it really starts to feel like Christmas is nearing when I'm doing something with other people. Bazaars, outdoor markets, and concerts are a few examples many of us experience and enjoy at this time of year. In Niagara, we have several opportunities to connect with others and join in these magical moments. What are your favourite local events and traditions?

There's something very comforting about holiday bazaars. The familiar penny sale, raffles, and homemade baked goods. It's also a great opportunity to share time with people of all generations. Sitting down at a table for coffee or hot chocolate might introduce you to a new neighbour and a funny story.
