Put a bow on it... and add a sprig of greenery!

At the Figg Street Co. shop, we're lucky to have an abundance of sumptuous options for wrapping gifts. This is something that delights me, since I enjoy wrapping items in a decorative manner. It's the entire process that I relish: selecting a special paper, considering the ribbon to coordinate with it, choosing a card and then finding inspiration in the shop or in nature to add a topper - a little something extra to make the recipient smile!

I often add a small green pine branch, cinnamon sticks, a pinecone or an ornament to the top of holiday presents. Cotton ribbon or twine works well to secure these little gems to the top in a bow.

There are also ways to layer the gift-opening experience. Anyone who's ever received a large box, opened it and found inside a slightly smaller box, opened that to find inside it yet another smaller box, etc. etc. knows what I'm referring to here. It prolongs the anticipation of whatever could be inside, as well as creating moments of laughter and a stronger memory of the occasion.
