Turn, Turn, Turn

Lately, after I wake up, I feel a moment of anticipation as I walk out the door. Our days are in flux: there may be summer heat greeting me or I may find myself bathed in cool, crisp autumn-like air. It's a real mixed bag. 

It's a time when I try to lap up what remains of summer: bright sun, heat, and the lushness of nature. I collect baskets of ripe, red tomatoes and pluck leaves of fragrant basil to accompany them. And yet, I also find myself moving forward planning for the holiday season at Figg Street Co., excited for fall-time, and savouring a steamy cup of coffee on a cooler, rainy day.
