Child's Play

Have you ever spent time with a baby or small, pre-verbal child? Watched them as they gaze at you, others, and things around them? They're fully engaged, taking it all in, and the focus and attention of their eyes is incredibly endearing. Before they develop language, they have no past or future cluttering their minds. There's just this one simple moment together. It's just perfect as it is.

This childlike experience of observation and appreciation remains a part of us, if we choose to connect with it.

It delights us at Figg Street Co. when we see childlike delight on the faces of our customers of any age. As the holidays draw near, this tendency in all of us can come alive. We see little ones and listen to requests for children's gifts. And since November 20th is National Child Day in Canada, we thought it's a good time to talk about our items for, and inspired by, kids.
