Let's Set The Table...

Perhaps my favourite Christmas preparation is setting the table. I enjoy selecting the table runner and china set to use and coordinating them with glasses, cutlery, napkins and place cards. It's also fun to buy or make a centrepiece and select candles. When it's all put together, beautifully lit and the holiday music is playing, I feel a sense of accomplishment and satisfaction. For me, it's one of the holidays' most joyful moments: anticipating my guests and breaking bread together.
