The past couple of weeks have been buzzing at Figg Street Co. Customers have been filled with June energy: a busy feeling of activity created by the long sunlit days, so much in bloom, and warm air married with the end of the school year, graduations and many weddings taking place this month. It's a time of completions and new beginnings!

It's a pleasure to talk with people about their graduation gift shopping. We hope last week's issue of Tuesday's Tonic provided some inspiration. Today's we'll add a few other ideas and add-ons. In general, including an accessory to your main gift is both popular and useful. For example, if you're buying a pen, adding a converter or a bottle of ink in the recipient's favourite colour is a welcome personal touch that they can enjoy straight away.

Pens certainly are tried and true for graduations. However, another contender is a journal or leather bound organizer. These can have sentimental value as they're reused over the years and develop a patina, or, in the case of a notebook, one revisits it in the future to recall this special time in their life. Such gifts also encourage starting this fresh chapter of one's life with a writing habit that has many benefits, including mental health.

Has part two of our graduation gift guide given you some inspiration? We hope these ideas have sparked your creativity and that you're able to give your special someone treasures that they'll enjoy for years to come. Of course, there are also plenty of other options available at the Figg Street Co. shop that aren't featured here. For the full assortment of choices, visit us in person.

We'd like to congratulate all 2025 graduates on a job well done and extend our wishes for a happy, healthy, and prosperous future!
