Potluck - Kimono Squares
Three of the sheets are hand stencilled Katazome-shi and the other three are hand silkscreened Chiyogami.
Katazome-shi are stencil-dye papers based on traditional kimono-printing techniques. These papers were developed in Kyoto, Japan during the 20th century.
Chiyogami is Japanese hand-screened decorative paper consisting of repetitive patterns.
These sheets have a multitude of uses:
decorating/covering storage boxes
holiday tree ornaments
... and whatever your imagination desires!
