Potluck - Kimono Squares

This package contains 6 hand-printed squares of Japanese papers, each measuring 8.5 x 8.5 " (21.6 x 21.6 cm).

Three of the sheets are hand stencilled Katazome-shi and the other three are hand silkscreened Chiyogami.

Katazome-shi are stencil-dye papers based on traditional kimono-printing techniques.  These papers were developed in Kyoto, Japan during the 20th century.  

Chiyogami is Japanese hand-screened decorative paper consisting of repetitive patterns.
